About Markantone Painting
We are Lucas and Micah Markantone. We are the owners of Markantone Painting. Lucas has been involved in the painting industry since he was 12 years old. He served his apprenticeship under his father. He is a second generation painter. Micah also has been involved in the painting business from an early age carrying on the family legacy. Micah is a third generation painter.
The company was founded in 1958 by Samuel Markantone. He began our business with a wagon, a few ladders and some paint! He would canvass the east communities by foot looking for work. Quality work and dedication to a job well done would set us on the path of continued success. We personally invite you to join our family and experience the tradition of a job well done.
In 1958, Samuel Markantone founded Markantone Painting to serve the Greater Pittsburgh area. Sam's customers loved the beautiful, lasting work he was able to achieve and enjoyed his wealth of knowledge as a professional painting company in the residential and commercial painting industry.
Now, his legacy of exceptional fine-quality craftsmanship is carried on by his son, Lucas. The company values of providing superior quality work and service lives on.
Markantone Painting is considered one of the top painting companies in the Pittsburgh area and is well-known for paying close attention to detail, proper surface preparation, and delivering superior results.
We're a fully licensed and insured Pittsburgh painting company with decades of experience. We'd be happy to provide you with a certificate of insurance upon request or answer any questions you may have about our company and employees.

Why Pittsburgh Should Hire Us for Painting Services
Our painting company focuses on the detailed preservation of the interior and exterior surfaces of quality residential homes, businesses, churches, commercial buildings, and institutional facilities throughout western Pennsylvania.
Our professionals have played a major role in preserving historical sites and National Historic Landmarks such as the Woodville Plantation, the oldest residence in Allegheny County, and the oldest church west of the Allegheny Mountains, the historical Old St. Luke's Church which was constructed with quarried stones from Jerusalem.
As a member of the Painting & Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA), our house painters are well educated on the newest and safest products available for your home.
Our Pittsburgh painting company believes that unpainted walls hold the promise of warmth and beauty. To bring a beautiful new design to your home, we use quality interior and exterior painting products from companies we trust and work with you closely to help you find the perfect new color scheme.
We deliver on-time professionally skilled craftsmen and high-performance paints that endure. This all results in a professional, cohesive design that feels right at home. We want you to be amazed with the quality work and exceptional service we provide you with!
Dedicated & Safe Employees
Our painting employees are background checked and drug tested to ensure our crew can be trusted to enter your home or commercial building for service.
